What to Expect on Your Adventure

Day 1: Half-Day City Tour & Shamanic Encounter (L/D)

Pick-up from your hotel. Start wandering around Sukhbaatar Square and the surrounding historic buildings. This walking tour offers more than just a stroll; it’s a chance to see Ulaanbaatar’s landmarks through a new lens, with a guide who will share fascinating behind-the-scenes insights and anecdotes, creating an experience that’s truly one-of-a-kind. Visit the National Museum of History with a guided tour to explore Mongolia’s rich history, traditions, and diverse ethnic cultures. 

Lunch: A Taste of Traditional Mongolian Cuisine

Preparation for the Shaman Visit: Shop for Necessary Items for the Ceremony. As is customary, visitors bring milk and other offerings.

In the evening, participate in a transformative Shamanic session, where you'll connect with ancient spiritual practices and gain deeper insights into Mongolia's mystical traditions.

After the visit, return to the hotel and enjoy a restful night in preparation for the journey ahead the next day.

Day 2: Camel Riding by the Semi-Desert Sand Dunes. (B/L/D)

In the morning, you'll be picked up from your hotel and head to the Semi sand dunes "Elsen tasarkhai". 

Visit the Uvgun Temple ruins, where you can hike through the peaceful landscape and meditate, allowing yourself to connect deeply with the natural surroundings.

Followed by a visit to a traditional nomadic family. Experience their unique way of life as you stay with them, learn about their customs, and gain insight into Mongolia's rich nomadic culture.

Enjoy a scenic camel ride along the semi-desert sand dunes. 

Dinner is offered by the nomadic family. 

Day 3: Hustai National Park and Horse riding (B/L/D)

Today, we will visit another family near Hustai National Park, where we'll learn the traditional techniques of making dairy products from cow's milk. Our host mother, a skilled craftswoman, will teach us how to create handmade felt products, such as earrings and more.

Together, we'll cook 'Buuz,' a delicious traditional Mongolian dish. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing horse ride and take in the stunning scenery.

In the evening, we’ll visit Hustai National Park, where we may catch a glimpse of the wild horses as they come to drink water during the summer months.

Return to the family home and enjoy some well-deserved rest.

Day 4: Time to say good bye to our host parents. (B)

After a delicious Mongolian breakfast of Urum Boortsog, we’ll bid farewell to our host family and head back to Ulaanbaatar.
